Neil Douglas Guitar Shop Covid-19 Safety Plan
The health and safety of students and staff is our top priority. We are working hard to follow the recommendations of health authorities during the Covid-19 outbreak.
- We are offering a combination of in-person and online lessons to accommodate individual comfort levels as well as flexibility for those who are showing any symptoms of Covid-19.
- Students and staff must self-check for any signs or symptoms of Covid-19 before attending. Alternate lesson arrangements will be made either in person or virtually as requested.
- Hand sanitizing stations are available in multiple areas and all students are required to use one upon arrival.
- Physical distancing markers are in place and students and staff are required to follow them.
- Plexiglass barriers are installed in all studios.
- Masks are mandatory in all waiting areas and hallways. Students and staff may remove their masks once seated in the studio behind the plexiglass barrier. If the student chooses to keep their mask on behind the barrier, the teacher will as well.
- We have eliminated all chairs and books from the waiting areas. We ask that students arrive no earlier than their scheduled lessons time and for parents to remain outside if possible. Individual teachers will review this policy with their students.
- Washrooms are available but we ask that you only use them if absolutely necessary.
- Smaller studios will not be in use during the pandemic. Fewer teachers will be on site at a time to reduce the number people in the studio.
- The Studio will be following a strict cleaning schedule for all areas to ensure your safety.
- Lessons payment can be made through etransfer, over the phone on a credit card, by cheque or in person on your debit/credit card or cash. Your teacher will go through these options with you.
